CURIOSIS Celloger Mini Plus, Automated Live Cell Imaging System

Capella Science has partnered with CURIOSIS, driving efficiencies in the area of multifunction automated live cell imaging research and applications. The Celloger Mini Plus is an automated live cell imaging system that is equipped with advanced fluorescence, autofocusing and real-time multi-position imaging technology, based on bright field and fluorescence (green/red) microscopy. Instead of having a movable stage, the camera inside the system moves on X, Y and Z axes to capture the images. Research protocols can be optimised with the use of automatic focusing, real-time multi-position imaging functions, etc.

Key features of the system include its compact size, which easily fits into standard CO2 incubators; fully motorised multi-position imaging of up to 96-well plates; compatibility with various cell and tissue culture vessels; multiple focal planes captured through Z-stack imaging; intuitive UI/UX and easy-to-acquire confluency data; an autofocusing function to accelerate focus speed and reproducibility; and image stitching enabling analysis of larger sections. Supported applications include cell migration, morphology, confluency and proliferation; wound healing and cytotoxicity assays; transfection efficiency assessment; and co-culture and multipoint cell monitoring.

System specifications include: dimensions of 226 x 358 x 215 mm; weight of 5.6 kg; 4x/10x objective; LED light source; motorised XYZ stage; and bright field and fluorescence (green/red) imaging modes. Green fluorescence mode includes excitation of 470/40x and emission of 510lp, while red fluorescence mode includes excitation of 510/84x and emission of 570lp.
