The Miris Dairy Milk Analyser can be used to analyse both milk and cream for: fat, protein, lactose (SNF), dry matter and added water.

The unit offers an alternative to both time-consuming chemical analyses (Gerber, Kjeldahl etc) and advanced analytical instruments.

Both the IDF (International Dairy Federation) and AOAC International (Association of Official Analytical Chemists) have approved mid IR technology for milk analyses.

Components are measured in one simple step and results are shown within 60 s.

The instrument features a small, robust construction and ease of operation. It is designed to operate on either a production line or as an online instrument for dairy laboratories.

The analyser integrates a tested and certified analysis method (mid IR) in combination with a new technique. The instrument has high accuracy with a measuring range that covers anything from low-fat milk to cream (50% fat).

The analyser is also easy to use, having been calibrated at the factory. All users need to do is perform a level control, set it to zero, inject a sample and press start. The results are presented directly on the display to two decimals and can easily be transferred to a computer.
