Desktop metal analysis

The Belec Lab 3000s desktop spectrometer weighs 49 kg and is a compact unit for metal analysis.

The small size allows it to be installed in a restricted space such as a desktop. The spectrometer is temperature- and humidity-stabilised, has low power usage and plugs into a normal mains power point.

Low detection limits and good precision are achieved, using photomultipliers for the best signal-to-noise detection levels. An argon flushing system inside the measuring chamber means very low argon flow requirements.

The sparkstand is open and available from all sides. This means that large and bulky specimens can be analysed without having to cut or destroy them. A range of adapters is also available to enable analysis of small parts (eg, metal splinters, screws, washers) and also holders for analysing pipes, tubes and wires.
