Alltech's ELSD 2000ES combines universal detection capabilities with enhanced sensitivity for demanding applications.

Advanced instrument control and dual-mode operation deliver optimum results for any application. The ELSD 2000ES has all the benefits of its predecessor model, the ELSD 2000, plus greater sensitivity. The optical and electronic components have been redesigned to minimise background noise and increase sensitivity. The result of this technology is lower detection limits and greater signal-to-noise ratios.

The ELSD 2000ES is claimed to detect anything less volatile than the mobile phase to low nanogram levels. The mobile phase is evaporated before detection occurs, eliminating solvent fronts and providing stable baselines with gradients.

The ELSD 2000ES can be used as a standalone detector or complement information from UV and/or MS.
