Heraeus Noblelight D2 plus deuterium lamps
The Heraeus Noblelight D2 plus deuterium lamps are claimed to offer higher stability and lower optical noise due to the combination of an advanced design and ELP technology. Heraeus has combined its broad knowledge of materials technology - UV/quartz glass and coatings, metals and ceramics - with advanced deuterium lamp design to satisfy this demand. This results in higher intensity and lower optical noise, producing the highest precision analytical results.
Deuterium lamps are now available with 0.5 and 1.0 mm apertures with a minimum lifetime of 2000 h for UV-Vis spectrophotometers, new design HPLC and the even more demanding UHPLC instruments.
D2 plus deuterium lamps include the company’s enhanced lifetime performance (ELP) technology which offers 50% more initial intensity and greater than 2x residual intensity compared to conventional deuterium lamps. Users benefit from faster and higher accuracy measurements - even at the end of lamp life.
