HPLC column chiller/heater

The EchoTherm CO50 HPLC column chiller/heater has a temperature range from 4 to 100 °C readable and settable to 0.1 °C.

The PID temperature control software regulates temperatures to ±0.2 °C even at ambient settings.

The peltier-based CO50 has five program memories with 10 steps per program and the ability to repeat any program up to 99 times automatically.

This unit is suitable for chiral and biomedical chromatography where below ambient temperatures help preserve bioactivity. It can be used for stabilising column temperatures from day to day at or near room temperatures for repeatable results. There is a stable temperature indicator lamp on the front panel of the unit that lights when the target temperature is stable.

The unit can hold columns up to 30 cm long by 0.63 or 0.95 cm diameter in mounting clips provided. Columns with larger diameters can be used by removing the column clips.

The CO50 features an RS232 I/O port for: controlling the unit by a chromatograph; for programming gradients; and for data collection. Also included are: an injection counter; a 30-day timer with user-settable auto-off; and a chamber drain for spills.

The unit comes with a benchtop universal power supply, 3-wire AC line cord for the country of use and instruction manual. It is UL, CSA and CE compliant.
