The IDT Redlake MotionXtra N-series compact, high-speed cameras provide a solution for applications such as microscopy, human/animal movement studies, gait analysis, PIV, airborne and underwater testing, onboard automotive testing, mining, engineering as well as media and advertising.
The N-series contain light-sensitive CMOS sensors of 1, 1.3 or 4 megapixel and speeds up to 4000 fps at full resolution making it possible to record at high speeds without bulky and power-hungry illumination. The miniature N-Series high-speed camera is small, light and fast and enables fewer weight adjustments during testing. The cameras are small enough to fit in a coat pocket and are High-G rated.
Being fully autonomous, the N-series cameras do not require a plug-in to console during application. The high-speed series offers a choice of 10-bit (monochrome) and 30-bit (colour) models along with configurable RAM, a gigabit ethernet interface and the cameras are compatible with MP3 and PDA.
Autonomous operation can be achieved for up to 60 minutes with an optional battery. A wireless option is also available to increase the camera’s adaptability.
