Merck Millipore HPLC Analytical Application Finder

Wednesday, 10 August, 2011 | Supplied by: Merck Pty Ltd

Merck Millipore has released a simple to use Analytical Application Finder that allows users to search for HPLC applications to suit their sample. The Analytical Application Finder has hundreds of applications for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, bioscience or research and development fields.

The overriding aim of the Finder is to reduce the amount of time users spend in tracking down applications. The tool utilises four search parameters - field of activity, substance class, sample and parameter to locate the applications the user is looking for. Applications are easily converted into PDF files for immediate viewing, storing or printing. The complete analytic procedure is detailed in the document, from how to prepare samples to determining measurement parameters.

Some examples of the numerous HPLC application methods that can be located in the Finder include alkaloids, caffeine and related compounds, chiral compounds, organic acids, vitamins, cancer medication, pain killers, diuretics and plant extracts.

These HPLC applications (designed by the global Merck Millipore application team) and the Analytical Application Finder are continually updated with new methods.

In addition to HPLC methods there are also methods for Karl Fischer, microbiology, photometry and reflectometry.

To locate the Finder, simply go to www.merck-chemicals.com.au and click on the Analytical Application Finder link under the Quick Links heading.
