Ecotech has released the Hg253 portable mercury analyser which uses the atomic absorption method for extremely low detection and interference-free monitoring of mercury.
Its dual beam spectroscopy technique minimises drift and eliminates the need for calibration to once a year. Data stored in its internal flash memory is automatically time and date stamped and is retrieved using a PC.
The HG253 is suitable for both field and laboratory use with a quick swap battery with a life of over four hours between recharges.
