The Metrohm Instant Raman Analysers (Mira) are handheld Raman analysers featuring Orbital Raster Scan (ORS) technology. The highly reproducible averaging technique extends the scope of possible samples to any kind of heterogeneous and sensitive materials.

The product is a high-performance spectrometer for rapid, non-destructive analysis of chemical and pharmaceutical samples, be they liquid or solid. Barely larger than a smartphone, the analyser may be instantly used anywhere: in the warehouse, in the process, in the field and in the laboratory.

The light and compact unit enables single-handed operation. It offers point-and-shoot identification, with close-range measurements through packaging of different thicknesses (including plastic and amber glass). With fast, real-time results, no sample preparation is required.

The product’s comprehensive spectral libraries ensure maximum flexibility. Automatic calibration is available for a wide range of critical applications. Robust and maintenance-free, the basic package can be used without any additional safety measures required.
