Microplate spectrophotometer

The PowerWave microplate spectrophotometers combine a monochromator-based optical system with hardware and software features designed to meet a variety of microplate-based applications. The readers allow the user to either scan across selected wavelengths or select a discrete wavelength (in 1 nm increments) across the UV-Vis range.

The system does not require interference filters, removing the need to buy a filter to meet a specific application. To easily equate microplate-based assays to traditional 1 cm measurements, automated pathlength correction is available with all readers.

With their very small footprint, the readers are suitable for automated systems. The hardware design meets the rigours of long-term kinetic assays, as well as basic endpoint measurements with problem-free operation.

Gen5 data analysis software controls the readers and provides powerful data analysis in an uncluttered, logical interface. Temperature control to 50°C is standard in all readers, for precise control of temperature-sensitive assays.
