PAC-Antek Sulfur Express sulfur detector

The PAC-Antek Sulfur Express sulfur detector uses the ASTM D7620 - 10 standard test method for the determination of total sulfur in liquid hydrocarbon-based fuels by continuous injection, air oxidation and ultraviolet fluorescence detection (doesn’t require compressed gases).

The detector is suitable for mobile laboratories and screening applications where operators don’t have time to send their samples back to the laboratory for analysis. The portable unit is quick and easy to use, users simply fill a syringe from the selected sample and load it into the automatic sample injector for consistent results in <6 min.

The results are displayed in real time on a linear calibration curve (calculates average and % RSD) and can be printed via an in-built printer or transferred to a computer via USB for later use. All samples are automatically stamped with the date/time of analysis and a sample identification.

The detector is suitable for most combustible products including gasoline, reformulated gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, marine fuel and biofuel with no matrix effect. Both high and low levels of sulfur can be detected and measurements can range from 1-3000 ppmw depending on the sample type.
