Peak Scientific FLEXFLOW gas subscription service
Peak Scientific has announced the launch of FLEXFLOW, a monthly gas subscription service. The service gives users an alternative to high-pressure cylinders, without the need to purchase and maintain generator equipment. It is designed for customers with LC-MS instruments in their laboratory who are looking for a more convenient solution for instrument gas.
While many people appreciate the benefits of using a gas generator in the laboratory, not all are in a position to invest in equipment or may simply prefer to pay for gas monthly as an operational expenditure. FLEXFLOW has been developed to meet the needs of these customers, bringing the benefits of a generator (convenient, safe, on-demand) with the ease of monthly payments similar to buying gas in cylinders. The subscription concept means users are paying for a service based on a guaranteed flow of nitrogen gas, delivered from a Peak gas generator, but are not renting or leasing specific equipment.
Peak Scientific takes care of installing appropriate generator equipment to suit the user’s needs, as well as handle the servicing and any unplanned maintenance, ensuring the gas supply is uninterrupted and available 24/7 on demand. With long-term supply solutions in mind, FLEXFLOW is available in contract lengths of 36 months or more, with discounts on longer terms. Users can upgrade (or downgrade) their service level during their contract period to match changing gas requirements as they add instruments to their lab, with Peak taking care of adding or changing the generator equipment required to deliver the required gas flow.
