The ISCX1 is a signal isolator that accepts a 4-20 mA signal with an input impedance of 50W or 0-10 VDC with an input impedance of 1 mW and provides an isolated output signal of 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC with an accuracy of 0.1%.
The standard instrument provides three-way galvanic isolation with a minimum of 500 VDC from the input signal to the output signal as well as power supply isolation.
The output is independent and can be scaled for different applications. Final calibration is achieved using the front-of-instrument-accessible 15-turn zero and span potentiometers.
Applications include using the device as an interface module to isolate process signals between plant equipment, PLCs and digital control systems.
The module is supplied in a DIN rail mount enclosure of 50 x 73 x 110 mm that can also be equipment plate-mounted and is powered from 120/240 VAC or 18-36 VDC.
