MobileTrace is a handheld trace detection instrument capable of simultaneous narcotics and explosives detection.

Suitable for law enforcement and military officers, the device’s simultaneous dual-mode detection and long-life battery expand the range of target drugs and explosives identifiable in the field in a single sample for fast, comprehensive security screenings.

Using GE’s ITMS (ion trap mobility spectrometry) or trace technology, the trace detector can simultaneously detect positive and negative ions, allowing for effective identification of difficult substances from a single sample.
