Monday, 17 December, 2012 | Supplied by: Warsash Scientific Pty Ltd

The Lynx SiPM Module, available from Warsash Scientific, is a compact, easy-to-use, analog module based on the C30742 Series low-noise, ultrafast timing resolution, low crosstalk SiPM chips.

The module offers an alternative to traditional photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) for a variety of analytical instrumentation and life sciences applications, including fluorescence measurement and flow cytometry.

The product consists of a single-stage TE-cooled detector head, DC-DC power supply and a low-noise transimpedance amplifier. It contains a 3 x 3 mm2 active area SiPM with 50 x 50 μm2 microcells for optimum dynamic range and photon detection efficiency (PDE).
