Australian Science Industry Exchange (ASiX) is a one-day event for companies that supply equipment or services to the Australian science sector - including defence, research, CSIRO and more.

Opened by Australia’s Chief Scientist Prof Ian Chubb, and with presentations from a host of experts including Dr Cathy Foley (CSIRO), Prof Aidan Byrne (ARC), Dr Anna Lavelle (AusBiotech) and Prof Warwick Anderson (NHMRC), this event will give attendees an overview on the current economic outlook as well as possible future trends in the industry and make sure they are up to date with all the regulatory and legislative changes that affect both customers and suppliers.

What you will learn by attending:

  • Changing needs and buying behaviours of your customers
  • What your customers really want
  • Policy and funding initiatives from government
  • Regulatory/legislative changes and updates that affect your company
  • How to engage successfully with major client organisations
  • What’s on the horizon?

Customers from research, defence and CSIRO will explain what they need and how they like to interact with their suppliers so you will be equipped to meet their requirements and promote your products and company more effectively.
