Self development program for laboratory managers

The Australian Industry Group in conjunction with Science Industry Australia and the Australasian Laboratory Managers Association are partnering with the Australian Institute of Management to offer new and existing managers in the scientific and medical industries an exciting self development program.

The program is a comprehensive and accelerated course to assist managers to develop their skills in self management and managing the performance of others. It covers the breadth of people management skills and introduces participants to practical tools and strategies. As well as the core interpersonal skills, this course covers the selection, recruitment and performance management of staff. It can also be articulated towards a Diploma of Business.

The course will take place at Ai Group - 20 Queens Road, Melbourne, over three days - 6, 7 and 12 May .

The program is restricted to 15 participants so early registration is essential.
