HEMCO UniFlow specialty fume hoods

HEMCO manufactures a wide selection of UniFlow specialty fume hoods, meeting requirements for perchloric acid, acid digestion, trace metals and radioisotope applications. The hoods are constructed, depending on the application, of either type 316 stainless steel for perchloric acid, PVC for perchloric acid, HDPE for acid digestion, polypropylene for trace metals or type 304 stainless steel for radioisotope procedures.

The specialty hoods feature welded one-piece interiors including the work surface. Perchloric acid hoods have, in addition, a welded-in rear drain trough for washdown. They feature vapour-proof or explosion-proof lighting, front airfoil, rear baffle and duct connection collars.

The specialty fume hoods have a composite resin exterior that is chemical- and flame-resistant. They can be factory-equipped with plumbing and electrical services, base cabinet or table options, and exhaust blowers to meet specifications.
