Kartell five drawer microscope slide storage unit

The Kartell five-drawer base unit (Art. 930) can accommodate up to 5000 slides.

The 420 x 420 x 725 mm high unit is made from ABS plastic. This base unit comes with five drawers and additional drawers can be added to the base unit by removing the top lid, locating the new drawer on top with the connectors provided and replacing the lid - 6, 7, 8 (or more) drawer units can easily be created.

The 100-place slide rack (Art. 921) is suitable for storage of large quantities of 76 x 26 mm microscope slides. Each position of the 100-place slide rack is numbered so that batch data can be written on either the inside or outside of the end plates. Dust covers (Art. 920) can be used to avoid dust and other foreign bodies contaminating the slides.

Each drawer of the base unit can accommodate 10 Kartell (Art. 921) slide racks, so each drawer can hold up to 1000 slides.

A set of four castors (Art. 931) can also be added to create a movable station.
