The Captair range of ductless recirculating fume cabinets is suitable when safety and low energy consumption are key priorities.

As well as being claimed to be one of the safest fume cabinets available, Captair fume cabinets are also claimed to reduce filtration-related energy consumption.

Rather then exhausting the toxic fumes and chemical vapours into the environment, the Captair system uses a range of filters to physically remove toxic fumes and particles. The activated carbon filter is available in a number of surface treatment options to cater for organic solvents, acidic vapours, ammonia and formaldehyde, achieved by both chemical adsorption and absorption onto the large surface area of the filter.

When particle removal is required, the HEPA and particulate-style filter modules are available to remove the finer biological particles as well as sub-micron solids.

Unit performance is continuously monitored via the flow alarm, which will alert the operator to a drop in airflow velocity. Timers and face velocity indicators are also available to further indicate unit compliance to the Australian Standard (AS2243.9 - 2009).

Captair ductless fume cabinets are available in a range of standard sizes up to 1500 mm in width and in longer customised lengths if required. Units may be trolley or bench mounted and services can be connected directly to the cabinet, adding to their versatility.
