Alicat Scientific’s line of PC Series and PCR Series digital single-valve electronic pressure controllers are versatile and can be used in many pressure control applications.

The electronic digital controller is claimed to be more precise than the standard valve-type controller. The controllers offer a variety of output options including 0-5 V, 0-10 V and 4-20 mA and RS232. A modular design allows the PC series pressure control instruments to be configured for use in vacuum control applications as well as pressure control applications.

The controllers offer quick response speed to measure and control. They are suitable for PVD-based vacuum applications like sputtering. They are inexpensive to run and rugged, with low power consumption and minimal maintenance. They are accurate to ±0.5% of FS and repeatable to ±0.5% of FS.

Applications of the digital pressure controllers include: precision gas or process pressure control; seat checking; verifying pressure or suction; monitoring/controlling feed pressure to processes; semiconductor manufacturing.
