The balances feature a die-cast metal case to provide good protection to the measuring cell. The case not only minimises potential for damage to the cell but also provides a very solid base to ensure consistent weighing performance.

The balances incorporate fully automatic calibration technology (FACT) to automatically adjust the sensitivity of the balance. This adjustment occurs once per day or whenever there are changes to ambient temperature, ensuring accurate results at all times.

To help make cleaning easy, the balances’ draftshields are simple to remove and dismantle allowing each component to be cleaned by hand or in a dishwasher. A clean balance helps to ensure long service life and also provides more consistent performance.
