The KNF Series N 86 diaphragm pumps are single-head, dry-running devices used in a wide range of laboratory applications. They transfer, compress and pump down without contamination.
The heart of the compact pump is a diaphragm which has been stress optimised using the finite element method. As a result, the company says it can make the pumps smaller while increasing the service life of the diaphragm. The N 86 KN.18 has a flow rate of 6 L/min and can reach up to 100 mbar Ultimate vacuum (abs), while the N 86 KT.18 has a flow rate 5.5 L/min and can reach up to 160 mbar Ultimate vacuum (abs).
The pump is 100% oil free, providing pure transferring, evacuation and compression of gases. It is suitable for use with slightly aggressive or corrosive gases and vapours. It is also maintenance free and environmentally friendly. The pumps are available in various versions with differing materials.
