The RS-TR 5/10 Roller Mixer from Phoenix Instruments provides a tube roller suitable for gentle mixing, utilising a rocking and rolling action to mix samples. The product is easily adjustable for speed control, using a knob on the analog model (RS-TR 5) or a digital LCD on the RS-TR 10 model.

Using the roller mixer, the user can achieve a gentle agitation of the sample over a short or long period of time. Simply lie the sealed test tubes on the grooves of the roller, and set the time and speed. The digital RS-TR 10 roller mixer is equipped with a timer, providing users with the flexibility to leave the mixing unsupervised and work on other tasks. The roller mixer can accommodate many different sizes of tubes and vessels, giving versatility to mix tubes sizes from centrifuge tubes to sample tubes, with up to a maximum tube diameter of 100 mm.

The tube rollers offer variable speed control from 0-70 rpm and are robustly built. The analog RS-TR 5 roller can roll up to 4 kg of liquid, while the digital RS-TR 10 is able to roll up to 5 kg of liquid.
