Manufacturer bioMérieux SA announced the end of life of the Labguard range of products in 2019, with all sales and support set to cease at the end of this year. The company has now partnered with JRI to allow Labguard customers to continue to use their devices on JRI’s MySirius platform, thus extending their life.

JRI is a leading supplier of laboratory environmental monitoring solutions with a global network of partners and distributors, including Australia and New Zealand. Butler Techsense, a veteran of 20+ years of the measurement instrumentation industry, is JRI’s Australasian partner and supplies the company’s complete range of hardware and sensors for laboratory equipment monitoring.

JRI developed an access point application which resides on the customer’s server and replaces the original Labguard software. The access point pushes data from the Labguard hardware to the MySirius cloud. Users can log in to their account from anywhere to view data and run reports.

Butler Techsense recently completed the successful migration of No. 1 Fertility’s Labguard 3D fleet to MySirius cloud. This allows laboratory staff to continue to monitor temperatures of their refrigerators, freezers, incubators and liquid nitrogen dewars. It is understood to be the first Labguard migration to MySirius in Australia.
