The Mavilor MA series of AC servomotors provides a short mechanical time constant suitable for control operations.
A short electrical constant provides high peak torque at high speed. The motor features: high stall torque due to the absence of commutator bars; low thermal resistance and low working temperatures; high power-to-weight ratio, suitable for manipulator mounted motors; and an air gap design, with a small diameter and short length.
For many applications a separate position sensor is not required; the resolver can be used for deriving a position feedback signal as well as speed/current information.
