Adixen Pascal Series rotary vane pumps

Monday, 26 March, 2012 | Supplied by: Scitek Australia Pty Ltd

Scitek has been appointed the exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand for Adixen Vacuum Technology products.

Adixen manufactures oil-sealed rotary vane pumps commonly used in chemistry and life science laboratories. Applications include high vacuum drying on Schlenk lines, vacuum distillation, molecular distillation, centrifugal evaporation, freeze drying and many others.

The Adixen Pascal Series rotary vane pumps come in three application-optimised versions: the SD series general purpose pumps, for non-corrosive gas pumping; the C1 series, for high corrosion resistance and suitable for applications including Schlenk lines and freeze drying; and the C2 series, designed for harsh chemistry applications (includes a nitrogen bubbling system for significant corrosion reduction).

Models are available with 5.4, 9.7, 15, 21 and 30 m3/h pumping. All pumps achieve <3 x 10-3 mbar total ultimate pressure.

The Pascal series features a high performance gas ballast system with up to 120 g/h water vapour pumping capacity. Gas ballast helps prevent internal vapour condensation which extends service intervals and pump life.

Accessories include: oil mist filters, oil drain kits, liquid nitrogen traps, sorption traps, dust filters, condensate traps, oil level switches and external oil filters.
