Edmund Optics MWIR and LWIR Waveplates

Tuesday, 28 February, 2012 | Supplied by: Edmund Optics Singapore Pte Ltd

Edmund Optics zero order Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) and Long-Wave Infrared (LWIR) waveplates are designed for applications in the 3-9 μm wavelength range.

When compared to multiple order waveplates, zero order waveplates provide increased bandwidth and lower sensitivity to temperature change. These waveplates are available with 1/4 or 1/2 λ retardance in a range of wavelengths, offer efficient retardation over broad spectral ranges and are suitable for a variety of infrared (IR) applications.

Each MWIR and LWIR waveplate is antireflection coated and has been mounted to ease system integration.
