Electrode management system

The Memobase electrode management system provides users insight into the reliability, performance, estimated lifetime and early-warning-failure of pH electrodes.

The key feature of the Memosens-based system is the digitisation of the analog measuring signal directly in the electrode. The ‘smart’ electrode head is now where the actual pH values are determined and digitally transmitted to the transmitter, removing the pH-offset-error due to the analog technology.

Memosens technology makes it possible to pre-calibrate any and all of the online pH electrodes at a central calibration station. The precalibration can be done in the laboratory or workshop as calibration at the measuring point is no longer necessary. The Memobase provides an audit trail and database for each pH electrode on site, which is stored in a report format on a spreadsheet. It records all calibration dates, commissioning dates and operating hours, along with additional electrode information. Operators can identify early-warning-failure patterns from a line-graph chart that incorporates all historical calibration data, including dates and times of each event.
