Hach IntelliCAL ion selective probes

Monday, 15 August, 2011 | Supplied by: Hach Pacific Pty Ltd

Hach has introduced four IntelliCAL probes to its electrochemistry portfolio. The new parameters within the HQd family include ammonium, chloride, fluoride and nitrate.

The parameters were built for water testing and provide fast and stable measurement. The probes last longer than traditional probes because there are no membranes to replace. This solid-state, membrane-free sensor eliminates the need to replace membranes and fill solution, so start-up conditioning is reduced. The electrode’s large reference junction provides more surface area for sample contact, so the sample is able to stabilise faster.

The four parameters join the recently unveiled laboratory meter and ammonia ISE probe within the HQd family. The HQd family of meters and IntelliCAL probes provide measurement flexibility in an electrochemistry solution created exclusively for water testing.

Designed for water applications, the Hach IntelliCAL smart probes automatically recognise the testing parameter, calibration history and method settings to minimise errors and set-up time.
