Harvard Apparatus Pump 11 Pico Plus Elite single-channel syringe pump

Harvard Apparatus has introduced an addition to the Pump 11 Elite product family. The Pump 11 Pico Plus Elite is available in a single-channel configuration that is compatible with syringe sizes from 0.5 µL to 60 mL. The single-channel configuration maintains the flow capabilities of the original dual-channel device while allowing for additional fluid volume without refilling the syringe.

The product offers ease of use through a high-resolution touch screen with an intuitive icon interface. The infusion/withdrawal syringe pump can deliver flow rates down to 0.54 pL/min and is suitable for small-volume injections, such as drug studies, and low-flow rate applications including microdialysis and organ-on-a-chip experiments. The syringe pump is also available with a glucose clamp capability that sets the infusion rate based on subject weight, drug concentration and required dose rate.

The Pump 11 Elite series allows the user to create, save and run simple to complex methods without a PC. The syringe pumps are programmable and have advanced connectivity with a footswitch, USB serial port for computer control, RS485 (or optional RJ11) ports for daisy-chaining pumps and digital I/O for remote control.
