Izon Science qVIRO-X nanoparticle measurement system

Wednesday, 22 November, 2017 | Supplied by: Particle & Surface Sciences Pty Ltd

Izon Science’s products are used for the isolation and characterisation of biological and synthetic nanoparticles. The Izon qViro-X is a system designed for size, concentration and aggregation data for bacteria, viruses and vaccines.

The product directly measures the size of individual nanoparticles in solution, to build up a profile of concentration (viral titre) against size and, therefore, the degree of sample aggregation. Results are available within minutes, and each measurement requires only 40 µL of sample fluid.

The system is suitable for: vaccinology and vaccine production; virus quantitation and stability assessment; gene therapy research (analysis of viral vectors); and microbiology and virology research (eg, virus-cell interactions).
