NAMSA Spore Strips, Mini Spore Strips and Spore Discs

NAMSA offers a full range of Spore Strips for use in monitoring sterilisation processes including: ethylene oxide (B. atropheus), dry heat (B. atropheus), steam (G. stearothermophilus) and radiation (B. pumilus). The products are also suitable for monitoring plasma sterilisation processes using hydrogen peroxide, for example - hydrogen peroxide sanitisation of biological cabinets. The Spore Strips are 6 x 30 mm in size and are packaged in glassine envelopes in packs of 100.

For applications where a Spore Strip will not fit, NAMSA has a range of Mini Spore Strips (2 x 10 mm) and Spore Discs (3 mm and 6 mm diameter) which are suitable for ethylene oxide (B. atropheus), dry heat (B. atropheus) and steam (G. stearothermophilus) sterilisation processes. Spore Strips are available with spore populations/strip of between 102 and 108 and the Mini Spore Strips and Spore Discs are available with spore populations/strips/discs of 106.

NAMSA Spore Strips, Mini Spore Strips and Spore Discs have an 18- to 24-month shelf life from date of manufacture and are stored at room temperature. The products are certified for population, purity and resistance (dvalue, zvalue and survival and kill where applicable) and are compliant with the ANSI/AAMI/ISO/EN 11138 series of standards and USP where applicable.

NAMSA can also produce custom biological indicators, eg, threads, stainless steel coupons etc, to suit almost any sterilisation monitoring application.
