Radley Heat-On heating and stirring workstation

The Radley Heat-On heating and stirring workstation is designed to accept standard round-bottom flasks from 10 ml to 5 L and offers good performance and a safe, cost-effective alternative to oil baths.

For additional safety, optional lifting handles can easily be attached and removed allowing the user to remove the block from the heat source, even while it remains hot.

Available in solid aluminium, it provides even heat transfer to the entire block, preventing hot spots. The deep, well shape avoids sticking and cracking of flasks, maximising the heating surface area, contributing to faster heat up. The range is available with a fluoropolymer coating, for chemical resistance to most solvents and alkalis and extension of product life, or a standard anodised finish.

The weight-saving design reduces the thermal mass of the block and the Heat-On can boil a 250 mL flask of water in under 11 min. The Heat-On is claimed to be 66% faster than traditional heating blocks and to use 30% less energy to achieve the same results.
