The ultrasonic TUD 320 flaw detector from Time Group uses pulse echo, dual and through-transmission to perform its flaw detection functions.
There are three detection modes available using single and dual probe methods. Ultrasonic waves can be chosen as positive half wave, negative half wave, full wave or radio frequency.
Scanning range is between 2.5 and 5000 mm, with a resolution of 0.1 mm between 2.5 and 100 mm and with a resolution of 1 mm in the range of 100 to 5000 mm. Gain range is adjustable from 0 to 110 dB. Bandwidth is from 0.2 to 15 MHz, divided into three ranges (0.2 to 1; 0.5 to 4; and 3 to 15 MHz).
Display is via backlit TFT screen.
