Vented closures are now available for all Nalgene sterile disposable flasks. The vented closures, made of HDPE, feature a 0.2 µm hydrophobic PTFE membrane that provides sterile gas exchange for shaker and suspension cell culture.
Nalgene closures fit all Nalgene sterile disposable flasks, and are available in two sizes. Catalogue number 4114-0038 is designed for 125 mL and 250 mL sterile disposable flasks, while catalogue number 4114-0045 fits Nalgene 500, 1000 and 2000 mL sterile disposable flasks. The closures are individually bagged and gamma irradiated, and are available in cases of 12.
