Enzo Life Sciences FLOWSCRIPT HPV E6/E7 Assay Kit

Overexpression of HPV E6 and E7 oncoproteins is a critical and necessary step to the progression of cervical disease through their ability to disrupt cell proliferation. Early detection of mRNA transcripts of E6/E7 in individual infected cells provides improved specificity by identifying not only the presence of the virus but also its viral activity.

The FLOWSCRIPT HPV E6/E7 Assay Kit from Enzo Life Sciences is a flow cytometry-based assay for the detection of E6/E7 mRNA in whole cells. The assay employs an in situ hybridisation technique utilising a cocktail of probes specific to multiple targets within the E6 and E7 genes to ensure the detection of these transcripts from most known variants of high-risk HPV.

The homogeneous system eliminates post-hybridisation wash steps, minimising leakage and signal degradation. Its multiplexing capability enables the product to obtain more information in a single test.

The kit is compatible with high-throughput testing platforms. Its low input volume saves precious samples for additional analyses. The routine use of external controls allows for consistent assay performance.
