NH DyeAGNOSTICS Refraction 2D protein labelling kit

Wednesday, 21 November, 2012 | Supplied by: Sapphire Bioscience

Refraction-2D is a novel technology for multiplex-fluorescence 2D gel electrophoresis from NH DyeAGNOSTICS. Based on irreversible binding of high-performing fluorescent G-dyes to lysine in proteins, the product is said to be an improvement over classical DIGE.

The product can run up to three different samples within one 2D gel. It can detect protein post-translational modifications as well as up and down regulation, and can detect as little as 30 pg of protein.

The product has a dynamic range of 4-5 orders of magnitude and a high level of photo stability. It picks spots directly from the gel so there is no post-staining required. It is mass spectrometry compatible.
