Netrin-1, a multifunctional dependence ligand, is considered to be a novel therapeutic target in various disease areas and a fifth key reprogramming factor in the generation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Netrin is a survival factor in multiple types of cancers, a key axon guidance factor important for neuronal development and a regulator of somatic cell reprogramming and pluripotency maintenance.

AdipoGen Life Sciences offers stable and biological active recombinant human netrin-1 proteins, which can be used for the generation of iPSCs and pluripotency maintenance of embryonic stem cells. The proteins are said to be offered in an improved formulation with higher protein stability, higher protein activity, no BSA and cross-reactivity with human and mouse receptors.
