The DRI Tricyclics Serum Tox Assay leads a panel of three serum tox assays available through Beckman Coulter. The panel includes the DRI Barbiturate Serum Tox Assay and DRI Benzodiazepine Serum Tox Assay.

The Tricyclics Serum Tox Assay is a ready-to-use liquid reagent used for the qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of tricyclic antidepressants in human serum, plasma or urine.

The Benzodiazepine Serum Tox Assay and the Barbiturate Serum Tox Assay are used for the qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of benzodiazepines or barbiturates in human serum or plasma. The panel is therefore suitable for emergency situations where a urine sample may be difficult to obtain.

Each assay features: ready-to-use liquid reagents; onboard reagent stability of 60 days on the Synchron LX and DxC platforms and 30 days on the Synchron CX platform; and the choice of qualitative or semi-quantitative measuring methods.
