Bio-Rad Laboratories CFX qPCR automation system

The CFX automation system enables walk-away, high-throughput qPCR on Bio-Rad’s CFX96 and CFX384 real-time PCR detection systems.

The automation system is equipped with a benchtop plate handler with the capacity to load up to 20 384-well plates or 7680 samples at a time on the CFX384 system, facilitating workflow automation and the generation and rapid analysis of data.

Besides taking advantage of improved workflow automation, scientists can use the CFX platforms to rapidly amplify and analyse large nucleic acid libraries.

As an added benefit, the CFX automation control software manages the configuration and operation of either system to ensure maximum productivity. This software is beneficial because it provides users with the flexibility to implement one protocol across several plates or assign specific protocols to individual plates during more complex assays.
