Cell attachment

Tuesday, 15 June, 2004

Corning's CellBind Active Surface is a novel and proprietary, non-biological, non-chemical, optimised surface treatment for better attachment and growth of anchorage-dependent cells.

Corning has demonstrated an increased adherence of fastidious cell lines and pri-mary isolates and the treatment may increase recovery rates of primary isolates from tissue.

CellBind is available in flasks and roller bottles which can be handled with the same techniques as standard tissue culture treated plasticware - there are no special storage or handling requirements.
