The Biolog Phenotype Microarray enables researchers to evaluate cell changes under thousands of physiological states in a simple, rapid and efficient manner.

Phenotype Microarray is a new platform technology for measuring cell pathway activities and phenotypes by analysing cells under thousands of culture conditions. Reactions occur in special microtitre trays and can be read manually, or using the OmniLog automated incubator/reader system.

Through amplification and precise quantitation of phenotypes, researchers are able to obtain an unbiased perspective of the effect on cells of genetic differences, environmental change, exposure to chemicals or drugs and more. Panels have been developed for bacterial, fungal and mammalian cells.
