Cambrex's FlashGel System can be used to separate DNA in 2-7 mins while monitoring migration in real time on the bench under normal laboratory light conditions (no harmful UV illumination).

The FlashGel System is claimed to be 5-20 times more sensitive than gels stained with ethidium bromide and will detect <1 ng DNA per band. This reduction in DNA concentration and sample volume conserves samples and users do not need to handle hazardous staining solutions.

Fragments from 50 bp to 4 kb can be resolved in less than 5 mins with clean, sharp band separation and straight uniform sample lanes. The system is suitable for checking PCR or restriction fragments quickly without having to prepare gels or wait 30 mins or more for results.
