Enzo Life Sciences SuperFasLigand for enhanced immune activation

Friday, 17 October, 2014 | Supplied by: United Bioresearch Products Pty Ltd

The critical role of signals transmitted via TNF ligands and receptors in mediating inflammation, cancer and immunity are well established. Recombinant TNF ligands can be used in drug development to enhance immune activation. Oligomerisation of TNF ligands using enhancers and expression of self-oligomerising chimeric proteins have been shown to improve stability and significantly enhance immune activation compared to that achieved with recombinant ligands alone.

SuperFasLigand is soluble, human and recombinant. It is said to provide enhanced immune activation compared to other recombinant ligands. The product features an N-terminus linker shown to improve stability and mimics glycosylation of native human FasL.
