GeneCopoeia miArrest miRNA inhibitors

The miArrest miRNA inhibitors from GeneCopoeia can be used to achieve transient or stable knockdown in virtually all cell types.

The potent, long-lasting and low-toxicity MicroRNA inhibitors can be provided against all known human, mouse and rat microRNA.

Vector-based lentiviral and non-viral mammalian inhibitor clones or synthetic inhibitors are available.

Features include: easy detection with mCherry reporter gene; suitable for difficult-to-transfect, non-dividing and standard cell lines; well tested, good quality and cost effective.

miRNA inhibitor constructs bind specifically to their target miRNA upon transduction into cells. The post-transcriptional processing causes formation of an entrapping structure that attracts and binds two molecules of the intended miRNA.

This in turn prevents the binding of endogenous miRNA to target mRNA, inhibiting the effect of miRNA on the target gene and facilitating enhanced target gene expression.

A unique vector design ensures maximum inhibition with specificity and long-lasting stability while keeping off-target effects to a minimum.

GeneCopoeia miRNA Expressway to Discovery tools are available for express, inhibit, validate or detect.
