The IH-SR Isolated Heart for Small Rodents from Hugo Sachs Elektronik–Harvard Apparatus is suitable for experiments on mice, hamsters, rats and guinea pigs.

The jacketed heart chamber maintains the optimal environment for the heart.

Suitable for cardiac electrophysiology and ischemia/reperfusion studies, the IH-SR is available for Langendorff perfusion and can be upgraded and customised for working heart perfusion.

The integrated aortic block of this system is the interface between the heart and the IH-SR. This allows the aortic cannula to mount easily to all measurement electrodes and collecting cannulae.

The compact apparatus provides optimal low-volume and high-temperature stability.
