Kyratec SuperCycler compact gradient thermal cycler

Australian designed and manufactured, the Kyratec SuperCycler is an ultra-compact, high-performance gradient block cycling system configured and optimised for 200 µL individual or strip tubes (domed or flat-capped) or 96-well plates (low, semi or high skirted) with strip caps or adhesive film seals. Configuration and profile set-up is easy and temperatures are displayed in real time during the run.

Its features include: flexible 7 touch-screen user interface; high-speed processor; high-resolution graphics; live thermal graphing; gradient prediction; large capacity for saved profiles; individual user accounts; wizard mode and advanced mode profile creation; onboard clock and date; Oligo calculator. It can profile up to 99 events, including ramps, holds, cyclings and pauses, and has advanced profile functions such as gradient, touchdown and long range as well as liquid temperature modelling.

The device allows for both quick and easy set-up increasing its ability to generate highly featured runs not possible on most other block cyclers.

Quad thermal control zones with four independent controllers and feedback sensors allow for high thermal uniformity and linear gradient ability. The SuperCycler has long-life peltier elements and a two-year warranty. The device has been designed to have an ultra-compact footprint to conserve valuable lab bench space. Its composite alloy low-thermal mass block is anodised for surface durability and optimised for high thermal uniformity. It has an optimised pressure-heated lid so no adjustments need to be made. It is available at an introductory price of $5,900.
