Listeria identification test

Thursday, 01 January, 2009 | Supplied by: Key Diagnostics Pty Ltd

The Microgen Listeria ID system is a complete identification panel for the identification of all six Listeria species. This test uses a range of substrates that conform to international standards and can be used directly off chromogenic and selective culture media.

The built-in haemolysis test replaces the CAMP test and removes the need for blood plates. The haemolysis reagent is held in a dropper bottle, minimising pipetting.

The system is AOAC-RI, AFNOR (with ALOA media) and CMMAS assessed and validated. It is supported by the Computer Identification System software, delivering comprehensive and up-to-date databases which registered users can update for free at www.microgenbioproducts.com.
